HK - 23 Jun to 26 Jun 2008

It have been more than 5 yrs since I last went HK. This time to HK is more for a relaxing trip to reward myself on the past 4mths hard work and stressful period. (I was covering Mag on her products while she went on a 4mths STIT in India)

Purpose: To do some shopping, eating and not forgetting to see how HK have changed since my last visit. Did not went Disneyland coz I prefer to have Dennis & boi accompany hence will definitely come back with 2 of them.

23.06 - 1st Day
Woke up at 4am to leave home at 5am to fetch Mendy go Airport. Flight was 6.30am.
Reach HK airport T1 at noon, both of us was hungry hence took a quick bite of donuts and proceed towards Bus terminal to take airport bus to Hotel. It was very convenient and so much cheaper compare taking airport express. A21 only cost us HKD33 and ard 45mins journey. The bus stop was just in front of Prudential Hotel (which is ours)

Reach hotel room and was pleased with the room at least is not those typical small HK hotel and we are paying quite reasonable rate coz is under company corporate rate! Good! :)

24.06 - 2nd Day
Been tasked to buy MM bag for Jye hence went to The Landmark.



At Night, we went to TST to see the scenic night view and visit Avenue of Stars.
This is the night No.3 strong wind signal start ... and start broadcasting to alert the public. The wind is so strong that even our camera is shaking and hard to stabalize the picture. Almost all pictures turn out to be blur!

25.06 - 3rd Day
This morning we woke up with No.8 strong wind signal and all transportation have stop all operation. With strong wind and rain outside, our plan to go Lantau Island need to be cancelled coz even cable car have stop it activitiy.

We went to restuarant near our hotel for tim sum.

We went Mongkok for shopping for the rest of the day since we can't go anywhere.

At Argyle center, we saw this cold noodles stall, you can pick the extra topping and mixed with some sauce and done!




26.06 - Last Day
Our flight is 8pm in the evening hence we almost have one whole day.
This morning is under Red storm warning signal. Cable car to Lantau Island is still not in operation however we decided to take bus up. We took MTR to Tung Chun station and took bus 15A to Lantau Island.






After Lantau Island, we went to the Factory outlet have some window shopping and lunch. Both of us were tired of the journey and hungry.

Off we went back to Hotel and prepare to leave for Airport.

27.06 - Midnight
